On the move - Roscoe/Rockton/South Beloit Children's Photographer

On Tuesday, I met Baby Matilyn and her Mommy out at Hononegah Forest Preserve in Roscoe, IL to capture her six month photos.

Matilyn is such a happy baby, and in the last week has figured out how to crawl. She is on the move and very excited about it. She does not sit still therefore we had to work off whereever she chose to stop.

We caught some great pictures. Here's your sneak peek!

"Let the children come to me..." Matthew 19:14 - Beloit First Communion Photographer

On Saturday, May 1st we went along with Sarah and her family for her First Communion at Our Lady of Assumption Parish in Beloit, Wisconsin. Sarah looked like an angel celebrating her big event. It was a beautiful day which the children deserved.

Enjoy your sneak peek!

Sarah's friend came to whisper a secret to her. It was so cute.

We can make announcements for any occassion.
Sarah's full name was left out for privacy.

All you need in the world - Rockford Wedding Photographer

"All you need in the world is love and laughter. That's all anybody needs. To have love in one hand and laughter in the other." -August Wilson

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting with Melissa and Paul for their engagement session in Cherry Valley. Luckily, the wind settled down a little, and we caught some pictures before the rain started in.

Paul and Melissa were fun to be with for the portion of the afternoon. Paul was definitely great for a laugh one out of every four shots. Whether we was making a funny face or pose, it was enjoyable to be around. I definitely caught some funny pictures in the little bit of time.

I am looking forward to their June wedding and the laughter afterwards.

Enjoy your sneak peek!

Hopping down the bunny trail - Machesney Park Children Photographer

My second session of yesterday was the Kersey kiddos. They were so cute dressed in their Easter outfits. Mom wanted to use the cat, Tucker, in pictures with bunny ears on. In the beginning, it didn't go so well. Eventually Tucker settled down and rested in the Easter basket, and we quickly snapped away making sure the kids didn't touch him.

The pictures turned out really cute! Enjoy your sneak peek.
