What baby boys made of? - Rockford Infant Photographer

The poem mentions frogs, snails, and puppy dog tails... not for this baby though, he was absolutely beautiful. We had planned on taking maternity pictures of his Mommy, however, he decided to show up early. Just in time for the holidays. Happy One Week Birthday Landon!

Thanks for letting me play with him this afternoon, oh how I miss those "baby" days! Hope you enjoy!

Such a big smile for a little girl! - Rockford Children Photographer

Last week, I met Nayeli and her Mommy out for some pictures in the park. Nayeli was full of smiles and a joy to take pictures of. She's at such a fun age, I miss my girls being this little.

Thank you for letting me take Nayeli's pictures, I hope you enjoy them!

Whew...the hard part is done!

After weeks of deciding, I have finally decided on a price plan for my portraits. I have been thinking about it for quite some time and finally decided that it would work. Thankfully, my friends were good listeners and after listening to my idea, they agree!

So now, my website is almost complete. The only thing I need is too upload some pictures; which I'm doing at this very moment! The other exciting news is that my business cards will be ordered at the end of this week. I am looking forward to seeing them, and planning on passing them out. Just wait, you'll get one too!

For all my past and future clients, if you refer someone and they book a session with me, there are incentives for both you and your referral!

There are very exciting things happening! Stay tuned...

Exciting Time

The past few weeks have been very exciting for me. I am slowly getting my website to where I want it to be, I have had three shoots with friends, my logo and business card are coming together (thanks to an awesome friend), and continue to have people ask me about my new business as they've heard from others.

I still am in lingo regarding pricing for my services. I will just start somewhere. It's not just the time in the photo shoots, but all the editing and reviewing of the pictures that follow that session. Then with the release of the photos adds a lot of value to the package as a whole also. It's hard to find a photographer that will release their work for the client to do what they please with it.

This blog will be transitioning into an area for future clients to get their sneak peak of their pictures quickly, while I am working on getting them ready. I have to come to the realization that not everyone has facebook! I will be adding pictures from my first three shoots, as not everyone can see them all.

Lastly, with everything happening the way it has been the past month regarding my new business outlook, it amazes me. I hope this grows into the company that I'd like it to be. I can not thank family and those friends that have helped and supported me with the idea from the start. Without your words of encouragement, I may have never taken my dream and started working on it.
