Some big shoes to fill - Harvard Newborn Photographer

Did I mention how much I love babies?! So VERY cute they are.

Jordan is the newest arrival to the family. With the name, he has some big shoes to fill. As far as his Daddy and Mommy are concerned, he's already done that.

Seeing new parents is such a neat time in life to witness; the happiness that comes along or maybe it's the lack of sleep. I had taken Josh & DeAnn's maternity session a while back, and we mentioned some ideas for Jordan's session. DeAnn really wanted him in an apple bucket since he would be born in the late fall.

As all new parents figure out...Jordan had some other ideas. Jordan mastered the sleeping baby picture. However when it came to anything to do with the apple bucket, he figured out how to inch his way out, or turn his head. He wanted nothing to do with it. It was okay though.

Enjoy the days of him being so little, it goes away so fast. Congrats to Josh & DeAnn!

Enjoy your sneak peek!

Little Miss Makenna - Rockford Newborn Photographer

I love babies. Their little sounds they make, faces, and that new baby smell (the baby lotion one!).

Josh and Heather asked me to come and "play" with baby Makenna, now just shy of four weeks old. I was thrilled, especially after doing their maternity session not too long ago.

Makenna did such a great job in her first photo session! Josh was a great help, as all he had to do was talk to Makenna and he caught her attention immediately. I'm sensing a little bit of a Daddy's Girl.

Enjoy your sneak peek!

Some grand baby fun - Roscoe Children's Photographer

Last week had the opportunity to meet with Deb and her grand-babies. She just had a new arrival to the family, and the others were in town visiting. The older boys weren't exactly thrilled to be having their picture taken, but with some laughs from Grandma we caught a few.

Enjoy your sneak peek!

A wee bit of Heaven - Loves Park Newborn Photographer

I met with Linnea & Mike to get some baby loving in this last week. I am always amazed at how little, and perfect babies are, and even more the parents that are smitten with their new arrival.

Miss Eva handled our little session well, only crying a little as we stripped her of her clothes. She was quickly comforted with Daddy & Mommy's warm hands.

Congratulations on your beautiful little girl!

On the move - Roscoe/Rockton/South Beloit Children's Photographer

On Tuesday, I met Baby Matilyn and her Mommy out at Hononegah Forest Preserve in Roscoe, IL to capture her six month photos.

Matilyn is such a happy baby, and in the last week has figured out how to crawl. She is on the move and very excited about it. She does not sit still therefore we had to work off whereever she chose to stop.

We caught some great pictures. Here's your sneak peek!

A boy baby!!! - Rockford Infant Photographer

This morning I went to go see the newest member of a friend's family, I don't get to see too many boy babies. Everyone around me has girls!

We've tried to meet together to catch him and his siblings together, we couldn't get anything together until next week. We wanted to be sure we catch a what is left of Trace's newborn looks.
So we played together for a few minutes.

Enjoy your sneak peek! More to follow next weekend!

A Baby Beginning - South Beloit/Rockton/Roscoe Infant Photographer

Today was scheduled to be a busy day. First we started with baby Duncan. He was a little camera shy at in the beginning, not quite understanding why everyone kept making noises and such. After a few clicks of the shutter, and flash of the lights he started to warm up a little.

He was so squirmy, even being so little. We were lucky that he couldn't quite crawl yet, cause he would have been gone. We caught some precious pictures that I hope you enjoy!

The Steelers definately won the prize for... - Rockford Infant Photographer

The Pittsburgh Steelers definately won the prize for having the cutest fan ever! Bella's daddy has turned Mommy and now his beautiful daughter into a Steelers fan! We had a late start to our session as Bella decided that it would be done on her time. After we had her approval it turned into a beautiful session.

I love babies so much, they are so precious, and grow so very quickly. After I started Mommy kinda stood back to watch, helping during prop changes. We put the tutu on her, I started shooting, turned around and Mommy was crying. It was a moment I will never forget. Chris reminded me of how wonderful the new mommy feelings was that I was going though five years ago today.

The session ended on a request to use the "Terrible Towel" which I asked for a history lesson on. I love the picture of Bella with the towel; it almost appears that she's smiling. Her daddy must have been giving a Steelers talk the whole pregnancy.

I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek! Thank you so very much for allowing me to take her pictures! Love you guys!

Baby Bella - Rockford Newborn Photographer

Baby Bella made her way into the world this week. It is so cold outside; however, she had no clue as the hospital room was filled with warmth and love from her Mommy and Daddy.  We had wanted to catch a few of her first days in the hospital, while planning on getting a full session in later this week! Stay tuned for more Bella on the Blog!

I love taking pictures of this family. After doing their maternity session and now today, the love between them is so strong - I can feel it through the lens. I couldn't be happier for them on their new addition to their family!

Christmas Present - Rockford Infant Photographer

I had the privilege of taking Brynlee's pictures shortly before Christmas. This was the second attempt at catching some memories as the first time she was bothered by shots the previous session.

She is such a precious Christmas present to her Mommy and family. I hope you enjoy her pictures!

I think this next one is a new favorite of mine!

What baby boys made of? - Rockford Infant Photographer

The poem mentions frogs, snails, and puppy dog tails... not for this baby though, he was absolutely beautiful. We had planned on taking maternity pictures of his Mommy, however, he decided to show up early. Just in time for the holidays. Happy One Week Birthday Landon!

Thanks for letting me play with him this afternoon, oh how I miss those "baby" days! Hope you enjoy!

Such a big smile for a little girl! - Rockford Children Photographer

Last week, I met Nayeli and her Mommy out for some pictures in the park. Nayeli was full of smiles and a joy to take pictures of. She's at such a fun age, I miss my girls being this little.

Thank you for letting me take Nayeli's pictures, I hope you enjoy them!
