All you need in the world - Rockford Wedding Photographer

"All you need in the world is love and laughter. That's all anybody needs. To have love in one hand and laughter in the other." -August Wilson

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting with Melissa and Paul for their engagement session in Cherry Valley. Luckily, the wind settled down a little, and we caught some pictures before the rain started in.

Paul and Melissa were fun to be with for the portion of the afternoon. Paul was definitely great for a laugh one out of every four shots. Whether we was making a funny face or pose, it was enjoyable to be around. I definitely caught some funny pictures in the little bit of time.

I am looking forward to their June wedding and the laughter afterwards.

Enjoy your sneak peek!

Hopping down the bunny trail - Machesney Park Children Photographer

My second session of yesterday was the Kersey kiddos. They were so cute dressed in their Easter outfits. Mom wanted to use the cat, Tucker, in pictures with bunny ears on. In the beginning, it didn't go so well. Eventually Tucker settled down and rested in the Easter basket, and we quickly snapped away making sure the kids didn't touch him.

The pictures turned out really cute! Enjoy your sneak peek.

A boy baby!!! - Rockford Infant Photographer

This morning I went to go see the newest member of a friend's family, I don't get to see too many boy babies. Everyone around me has girls!

We've tried to meet together to catch him and his siblings together, we couldn't get anything together until next week. We wanted to be sure we catch a what is left of Trace's newborn looks.
So we played together for a few minutes.

Enjoy your sneak peek! More to follow next weekend!

My Duckling Experience - Janesville Wedding Photographer

This last Saturday, I was lucky to spend the day following a local wedding photographer. I brought my camera with in the car just incase he didn't mind me shooting some also, to my surprise he asked where my camera was right when I walked in. I followed him just as a baby duckling follows the momma duck, I was behind him the whole time. I did not take a whole bunch of pictures, just as I did not want to step on his toes as the sole photographer. I sure wanted to though!!

The wedding was held at Roxbury Road Church of Christ in Janesville, WI with the reception following at the Marine Corp Lodge in Beloit, WI.

I am thankful to have the experience, and seeing how another photographer runs the show. It definately proved how every photographer has their own sense of style.

I can't wait to have my style shine!!
